1. Booking and Payment 1.1 A booking is confirmed once the required payment is received and a written confirmation is issued. 1.2 The remaining balance must be paid according to the schedule shown at booking. 1.3 Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation without refund. 2. Cancellation Policy 2.1 The guest may cancel at any time in writing. 2.2 Cancellation 30 days or more before check-in: 100% refund. 2.3 Cancellation less than 30 days before check-in: no refund, unless the dates are re-rented; in that case, a partial or full refund may be granted at Au pied des pentes’ discretion. 2.4 Service/processing fees, if any, are non-refundable. 3. Security Deposit 3.1 A $250 security deposit may be required prior to arrival. 3.2 The deposit is refundable after check-out, within a reasonable timeframe, only if: the condo is left in good condition; no damage, theft, missing items, or excessive cleaning is required; and all house rules have been respected. 3.3 Au pied des pentes may keep all or part of the deposit to cover damage, extra cleaning, missing items, or rule violations. Occupancy and Guest Conduct 4.1 Only the guests listed on the reservation may stay in the unit. 4.2 Maximum occupancy stated in the listing must be respected. 4.3 No parties, events, or excessive noise. Quiet hours and respect for neighbors are required. 4.4 Au pied des pentes may terminate the stay without refund for serious rule violations. 5. No Smoking / No Pets 5.1 Smoking (including cannabis and vaping) is strictly prohibited inside the unit. 5.2 No pets are allowed. 5.3 Fees/penalties may apply if these rules are broken. 6. Care of the Property 6.1 Guests agree to use the condo and its contents responsibly. 6.2 On departure, the unit must be left reasonably clean, with dishes washed and put away. 6.3 Any broken or missing items will be charged at replacement cost. 7. Liability and Limitations 7.1 Guests are responsible for their own safety and that of their visitors. 7.2 Au pied des pentes is not liable for accidents, injuries, loss, or theft of personal belongings. 7.3 Guests agree to indemnify Au pied des pentes for any damage caused by them or their visitors. 8. Force Majeure 8.1 Au pied des pentes is not responsible for disruptions due to events beyond its control (e.g., major outages, severe weather, resort closures, natural disasters, government orders). 8.2 If the rental becomes impossible, a pro-rated refund may be offered depending on circumstances. 9. Acceptance of Terms 9.1 By booking, the guest confirms they have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
